Blog posts, SEO, social media content all pass under inbound marketing.
Inbound Marketing is a great way to pull and get the attention on your website, product, or account.
However, it has a level of constraint which I will talk about further down the thread.
Next, we will talk about Outbound Marketing
Outbound marketing simply means you take the step to reach out to your customers rather than have them come to you.
This includes running campaigns that tell them what you do, who you are, and how you can help them.
Outbound Marketing can be in the form of Facebook ads, google ads, Instagram ads, Twitter ads, TikTok ads, etc.
One thing that is a key differentiator is that for all forms of outbound marketing, you may have to spend money.
Unlike inbound marketing where you give out content.
To the main point,
You are probably not spending enough on Facebook because you are thinking about it the wrong way.
Let me straighten your thoughts now.

If you share a piece of advert on the radio, how will people reach you?

It might have been late because the vehicle has driven past already
Again, maybe it wasn’t late, he’d need a pen and a paper or a mobile phone to capture your number, address or website.
Again, this hasn’t proven to be a great idea over time.
How much does it cost to put up a billboard or run a radio jingle in your city per week?
You can easily do the maths and realise that this is something that requires a large budget.
But you see facebook ads?
You don’t have the fear of retention in comparison to the bill boards and radio.
Radio shows are probably once a day or a week so if a person misses the show where your ad was shared, they will have to wait till next week or the next day.
Anything can happen within a day talk more about a week.
Facebook ads are different, yes users are scrolling down thair feed or reels, but the chances that they keep seeing your ad until they interact with it are so high.
Every time they log in which is basically twice in a minute lol, you stand a chance of being seen.
No you don’t need the budget of Apple or Nike.
Facebook ads can be a very useful way of dragging in ready to buy visitors to your website.

To sell most or all of those products a simple funnel will work something like what you have in the image bellow
1. Advertise on social media
2. Drive traffic to your WhatsApp/Facebook messenger/order page on a website
3. Maybe get on a call and
4. Close the sale
I mean this can be simply what happens with the majority of impulse buys…
However, if you are selling a product that doesn’t fall into the impulse buy category like;
You cant go the route of the basic funnel
The reason is that your buyers are not going to buy a course on how to stop procrastinating impulsively…
Or get into a coaching membership to become a better HR or sales guru impulsively
Heck they wouldn’t consider a $2,500 alternative energy source in a hearts beat
Let’s make it actionable in a few more words
As you may be able to tell, no one meets you on the first day and knows you, likes you, and trusts you…
They may like you but not know and trust you.
Those take time

That’s the code…
You want to be able to move the traffic from cold to hot.
The good thing is that these people become repeat buyers
And the value of their lifetime commitment will be worth the time and energy put into converting them
You can make better use of your ad budget to kill 2 or 3 stones…
